Bluebird Psychology is a private-practice located in Calgary, Alberta. We offer services in-person at our office in the Hillhurst/Kensington area and virtually throughout Alberta. We are expanding and looking for a Registered Psychologist to join our team! We are seeking someone who is interested in conducting a variety of psychoeducational assessments for children, teens, and adults.

We are seeking a Psychologist who:

  • Possesses a Master’s or PhD/PsyD in School and Child Psychology from a recognized post-secondary institution.

  • Is in good standing and fully registered with CAP with current liability insurance.  

  • Adheres to ethical standards of practice.

  • Is well-versed in and has experience with conducting a variety of psychoeducational assessments.

  • Is comfortable working in a private practice setting.

  • Is able to work independently.

  • Can work one evening and/or one weekend day per week.

  • Is well-organized with excellent communication and time-management skills.

  • Possesses at least one year of clinical experience (references may be requested).

  • Can provide a current Intervention Record Check (IRC) and Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.

  • Competency in counselling is a bonus but not necessary.

This position offers:

  • Part-time hours (approximately 10 direct client hours per week) with the ability to grow to full-time (20+ hours per week).

  • Contract psychologists are not expected to generate their own clients. You may also choose whether you provide free 15-minute consultations.
