Social Skills Groups
Are you looking to empower your child with essential social skills for success in and out of the classroom?
Bluebird Psychology will be offering Social Skills Groups for grades 4 through 6 in 2025 to help children develop confidence, empathy, and effective communication in a fun and supportive environment!
Social Skills Groups Can Help Your Child With:
Communication Skills: Teaching your child how to express themselves clearly and listen actively to others. This includes practicing both verbal and non-verbal communication.
Cooperation: Encouraging teamwork and teaching how to work collaboratively on group tasks and projects.
Conflict Resolution: Providing strategies for resolving disagreements in a constructive manner, helping children learn how to negotiate and compromise.
Empathy and Perspective-taking: Helping children understand and appreciate different viewpoints and develop empathy for others.
Making and Sustaining Friendships: Guiding children on how to initiate friendships, show kindness, and maintain healthy relationships.
Self-awareness and Self-regulation: Assisting children in recognizing their emotions and managing them appropriately in various social situations.
Peer Pressure and Decision Making: Teaching strategies to handle peer pressure and make positive choices.
Our Social Skill Training Groups use role-play, games, and group discussions within a supportive environment to engage children to learn new skills and make friends.
